The Parc de la Faïencerie is a municipal park located in the city center a few steps from Saint-Maurice Island. It owes its name to the old faience factory which made the city famous in the 19th century. Walkways have been laid out in this small wood, bordered on one side by the banks of the Oise and on the other by a hillside of limestone in which troglodytes have been dug. The "côte à Cri-cri", nicely redeveloped in 2015, allows you to reach the heights of Creil from the park. There are a few picnic tables and a large area for running or playing ball in the park. Nearby, the Espace culturel de la Faïencerie is made up of a performance hall (theatre, concert, circus, etc.), a media library, a room hosting exhibitions (Manga convention, book fair, potters, diques convention...) and the "Le Flora" brewery. On the island of St Maurice is also the Gallé-Juillet Museum and the House of Earthenware.
