Musée Jacquemart-André

ATTENTION: the Jacquemart André Museum will be closed from Monday 3 November 2025 for works.

The park, the abbey ruins, the Sainte Marie chapel and the rose garden will remain open during the works. Find out more about the many events on the Domaine de Chaalis website.

The museum presents the Jacquemart André Collection consisting of more than 6000 works of art, furniture, paintings, sculptures, decorative objects, frescoes by Primaticcio and the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Collection. This museum contains one of the most important collections on the French philosopher (manuscripts, iconography, etc.). The visitor is also invited to contemplate the frescoes by Primaticcio in the Sainte-Marie chapel. They can then stroll through the remarkable rose garden (Remarkable Garden).
