Château de Montataire

Its imposing silhouette dominates the city with grace, and it makes you wonder: What secrets does this majestic château hide? dominating the Oise?

Its history dates back to the 12th century and since then there have been many families. The present day, the Bernet family is renovating the premises and they offer their guests a moment "out of time", in all simplicity and good humour.

Beyond this rich history, the discovery of these rooms, their decoration and their objects, books and furniture, François-Xavier and his daughter Marie-Astrid tell us about "life at the chateau".

A beautiful duo committed to bringing life (and even revival) to the world. the château that became theirs in 2012 and which they are passionately restoring.

We love to come back at any time of year to meet the lords and ladies of the castle and their protégé, which is presented in a different light depending on whether you visit in June or December.
