The banks of the Oise of Saint-Maximin offer paths for walks, hikes and sports activities. Indeed, the path of the banks of the Oise is on the hiking circuit "In the footsteps of the builders" as well as on the GR11. Picnic tables and benches allow you to take a gourmet break at the water's edge.
Nearby, there is the Sainte-Barbe pond and going back to the village of Saint-Maximin, you can discover the history of stone extraction by visiting the Maison de la Pierre du Sud de l'Oise.
You can also cross the Oise by the Pont de Saint-Leu to continue your walk on the banks of Saint-Leu-d'Esserent and reach the Leisure Center and the Nautical Base.
