Every year, on the last Saturday in June, France Galop invites you to the much-anticipated OH!courses day, which is all fun and entertainment for all, entirely free of charge.
The races are taking place exceptionally by night (gates to the Hippodrome open at 3pm). A wide range of free events will be taking place on the day, including in the colours of L'Hippodrome en Famille.
After the races, the evening will continue in music until 11.30pm.
This free semi-nightly meeting at the racecourse is the ideal opportunity to discover horse racing (9 flat races starting at 3pm) and 3 pony races put together by the seeds of champions!
Saturday 28 June from 3pm, at Chantilly racecourse :
- 3.00 pm: Opening of the racecourse gates, catering areas and entertainment. General admission to the racecourse is free for adults and children.
- 4.00 pm: 1st race of the day! 9 Flat races are on the programme, every 30 minutes or so. 3 Pony races, to be run between the horse races.
- 5.00 pm: Throughout the event, discover the Artisans' Paddock, an area dedicated to local crafts.
- 5.40pm: It's time for the children to parade in the presentation ring with the jockeys (free animation with compulsory registration at the start of the event at the enquiry desk)!
- 6.45pm: Meet at the edge of the track for the Kids' Race (free entertainment with compulsory registration at the start of the event at the welcome desk)! Events close 30 minutes after the last race.
- 8.00 pm: To accompany this festive day, a variety of catering options will be available on the Chantilly racecourse. You'll be able to enjoy a range of food stalls with options to suit all tastes: burgers, grills, pizzas, crêpes, fresh fruit and vegetables and tasty desserts...
- 9:35pm: Experience the neighbourhood race! The different districts of Chantilly and neighbouring towns will be defended by riders.
- 9.45pm: After the racetrack, the dancefloor awaits! The group Elektrik Monday will be putting on an ultra-festive concert featuring pop, disco and rock covers.
- 11.30pm: Closing of the racecourse gates.
