Horse Festival in September in Lamorlaye. The Festival of Horses, Images and Words offers a cultural programme and meetings with artists, authors and directors invited to present their latest creations.
The Fête du Cheval returns to Lamorlaye! Always in the grounds of the châteauCome along and celebrate this day dedicated to our equine companions, with activities for all the family!
The programme
- From 11am: Storytelling in a horse-drawn carriage by the Attelages de Sacy and the ALMA association. Registration at the Centre Culturel & Sportif: 03 44 21 64 95/96
Pony rides and grooming - From 2pm to 8pm: Exhibition "Pierre Biancone, jockey and trainer since 1964 in Lamorlaye".with the ALMA association. Outfits and equipment, paintings, books, old jockey saddles and helmets...

- Signing sessions and meetings in the presence of Sophie Thalmann, jockeys, the SIPA academy, the ALMA association and the AFASEC horseracing school.

Registration for activities opens on 9 September.
- 6.30-11.30am: Visit to stables and training tracks France Galop. With Mr Marchal. Group shuttles by minibus (departure and arrival: bus stop opposite the château).
- 2pm-4pm: Creative workshops "Headdress and dala horse competition. Registration at the library: 03 44 21 64 15.
- 2.30pm-3.45pm: Two-legged horse competition for children aged 6 to 13. Registration on site from 2pm to 2.30pm
- 3pm-4pm: Folk dance demonstration (Country) With the Comité de Jumelage4pm: Children's parade and their creations4.30pm: Voting and prize-giving competitions by a surprise guest.
SHOWS
- 5pm: "The Knights of the Round Table" show. By Cheval Spectacle: Merlin the Enchanter recounts the legend of the Knights of the Round Table: Arthur's accession to the throne, the Excalibur sword, the formation of the Round Table, Arthur's marriage to Guinevere and the great celebrations surrounding this event. The show is divided into three equestrian tableaux (dressage, chivalry tournament, acrobatics), interspersed with two fire tableaux (fire manipulators and fire-eaters).
- 8pm: La Féérie équestre.
