Bat night | Making a bat hotel

The Saint-Vaast Nature association aims to raise awareness of biodiversity and promote the protection of natural areas. To this end, it joins forces with the Maison de la Pierre every year to run a workshop on making bat hotels. Because there's nothing like having a bat for a neighbour! Bats are voracious eaters, swallowing up to 3,000 insects a night, most of them mosquitoes!
So it's an ally of choice that you can offer a home for its well-deserved daytime rest.
