Christmas at the Château de Chantilly

From 15 November, Christmas will be at the heart of the Château de Chantilly for an enchanting and unforgettable experience! The Château, grounds and Grandes Écuries will be transformed into a festive realm, where magic and tradition combine to delight young and old alike! Between decorations, illuminations and encounters, the Château de Chantilly invites you to experience a timeless Christmas in France's favourite monument 2025.

SANTA
Father Christmas will be popping his head into the Château to the delight of young and old alike! This is the time for your children to write their famous letter to Father Christmas. From 14 December, our little elves will be putting his express letterbox at their disposal, bound for the North Pole! To meet Santa, come along on 3, 6, 7, 10, 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 22, 24 and 25 December from 2pm to 5pm in the Galerie des Cerfs.

CHRISTMAS CHOIR
The Ménestrel children's choir (Chantilly and Aire Cantilienne music conservatory) welcomes young singers aged 6 to 9. They will perform the most beautiful Christmas carols in the decorated Cour d'Honneur of the Château de Chantilly. It's an exceptional opportunity to express the joy of the festive season, in a timeless setting...

CHRISTMAS EQUESTRIAN SHOW: "THE GOLDEN ARCH
An original show combining adventure, equestrian prowess, acrobatics, humour and song that will delight the whole family! From 29 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, show at 2.30pm and/or 4.30pm depending on the day. In addition to the 1-day ticket.

GUIDED TOUR - THE WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS TOURS
Immerse yourself in the enchantment of Christmas at the heart of the Château de Chantilly! Designed for children aged 7 to 12, this themed tour invites families to discover the treasures and hidden stories of the estate from an enchanting angle. Guided through the château's emblematic rooms, young and old alike will enjoy an exceptional tour, including the Theatre Library, which is open especially for the festive season. A magical experience of wonder and discovery for all the family during the Christmas holidays. On 20, 22, 28 and 29 December and 2 January at 3pm. Duration: 1 hour. GUIDED TOUR - CHANTILLY IN THE SPOTLIGHT
To celebrate Christmas, the Château de Chantilly invites children to discover the secrets of light. How do artists paint it, how do scientists study it, and what role does it play in preserving the estate's treasures? Combining art and science, this unique tour offers an original look at the château, its works of art and its environment. 21 and 26 December and 1 and 4 January at 3pm. Duration: 1 hour. By reservation, limited number of places. 7, in addition to 1-day ticket. For 7-12 year olds.

GUIDED TOUR - THE ENCHANTED WAKE
As night falls, the Château de Chantilly lights up for a magical Christmas Eve. In a glittering and enchanting setting, young and old alike are invited to discover the Château in a different way, with a special tour punctuated by surprises, sketches and encounters that will bring the most beautiful Christmas stories to life. It's a magical stroll through tales, traditions and wonder, to be shared with the whole family. 21, 22 and 23 December. Duration: 1 hour. By reservation, limited number of places. WORKSHOP - ILLUMINATED CARDS
During the Christmas holidays, the Château de Chantilly is offering a new family workshop on the magic of illumination. Guided by artist Florence Aseult, children will discover the secrets of this ancient art and, as a family, create a brilliant, colourful Christmas card, just like in the days of medieval manuscripts! 22, 26 December and 4 January. WORKSHOP - THE BALL OF COLOURS
During the Christmas holidays, the Château de Chantilly is offering the Colours Ball, a fun and creative workshop for the whole family. Children will discover the world of colours through games and sensory experiences: learning to recognise colours, mixing them and creating their own work of art. A fun, sensory discovery of the world of colours to share with the whole family. Guided by an activity leader, children learn to recognise, mix and name colours, while having fun at the same time. Through games, manipulations and small experiments, they'll discover how artists of the past made their pigments, and how colours still come to life today. With its mix of discovery, experimentation and creativity, the Colour Ball is an ideal family activity to awaken curiosity and share a moment of fun in the heart of the estate. WHIPPED CREAM WORKSHOPS
The Confrérie des Chevaliers fouetteurs de crème Chantilly will teach participants how to whip up real Chantilly cream by hand. It's the perfect way to enhance your end-of-year desserts (Chantilly cream with chestnut cream, salted butter caramel, etc.). On 20, 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29 December and 2, 3 and 4 January at 10.15 am. GUIDED TOUR - FROM MONACO TO CHANTILLY
Discover the fascinating life of Marie Catherine de Brignole-Sale, an enlightened princess and daring patron of the arts, through a tour of the exhibition. A unique immersion between Monaco and Chantilly, at the crossroads of the Enlightenment and the Revolution. Dates for families: 27 December at 3pm, dates for adults: 22 and 29 December at 3pm.
