Forest Nights in Chantilly

Sunday 9 June, 4pm
MUSICAL TALE
based on "Le ballet de la Merlaison". The children set off on a new
journey into the musical world of Petra Mengeringhausen. The musician will meet you in the forest to show you (and play!) her interpretation of a composition written and danced by Louis XIII in Chantilly in 1635: "Le ballet de la Merlaison"! /// RDV Poteau du Puits, from age 4, duration: 1 hour.

Tuesday 11 June, 8pm
RUNNING 100% forest
Accompanied by a sports coach, set off on a run through the forest. Along the way, there will be stops where you can do some muscle-strengthening exercises, and forest specialists will tell you all about the forest's history and the challenges it faces today.

distance: 8 km, duration: 2 hours, intermediate level.

Thursday 13 June, 8.30pm
HIKING
Take a guided tour of the coat-of-arms markers, accompanied by a lecturer, to discover and better understand the role of the markers installed by Anne de Montmorency in the 16th century.
RDV at the Table de Montgrésin crossroads, duration: approx. 1h30.

Saturday 15 June, 3pm
LASER RUN
Try your hand at the latest event in the modern pentathlon. The event consists of a series of loops alternating laser shooting and running over a distance of 300m.
Led by Thomas Frachey. Option to register as a team
Four sessions starting at 3 p.m., departing every 30 minutes, open to all ages 10 and over, meeting point given at registration.

Saturday 15 June, 8.30pm
NIGHT CONCERT IN THE FOREST
The guitar ensemble from Le Ménestrel, Conservatoire de musique de Chantilly et de l'aire cantilienne, and their teacher Alain Pizzioli have put together a programme of 13 pieces that will have you on the edge of your seat.
from Brazil to Scottish dance, Renaissance dances and other surprises. A musical bubble in the middle of nature, out of time.
