Introduction to basketry at Chantilly

Come and try your hand at wickerwork with Julie Boulesteix, a wickerwork craftswoman with a CAP in wickerwork, who has recently moved to the Oise region. Julie will be introducing children and adults to the basics of wickerwork using French 100% wicker, creating decorative or utilitarian objects. You can sign up for a scheduled workshop or contact her directly if you have a special request. The wicker and tools are provided, so you can take your object home with you. The workshops are for 6 people and are designed for beginners.

- Sunday 20 July at 2pm: "Mangeoire ou porte-plante roue" workshop (adults and children aged 13 and over). Duration: 3 hours. Price: €55.
- Saturday 2 August at 10am: "Cone suspension" workshop (adults and children). Duration: 2 hours. Price: €40.
-Wednesday 27 August at 2pm: "Pencil pots" workshop (children aged 7 and over). Duration: 2 hours. Price: €40.
