28 April 2024

From 30 March to 12 May

En 2024, le Potager des Princes se réinvente et propose de nouvelles animations inspirées des fêtes traditionnelles Japonaises célébrées en l'honneur des enfants au printemps !

In the program :

> Hunt for "Yokai" hidden in the nooks and crannies of the garden.
Every day

This year, our young visitors won't be going on the traditional egg hunt. Instead, our little adventurers will have to find the "yōkai" hidden in the nooks and crannies of the garden: these supernatural creatures have inhabited Japanese culture since time immemorial. They are often translated as 'demons or ghosts' and come in a wide variety, from the most
from the frightening to the zany.

> "The gardener talks to children" fun conference
Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 4pm and every day during the school holidays from 20 April to 6 May.

Imagine an expert gardener, wheelbarrow full of tools, seeds, seedlings and even a real rabbit and a hen! Our gardener will explain everything there is to know about caring for farm animals, feeding them, raising chickens and making compost, and even test your knowledge of animal calls! You'll also discover nature's secrets and how plants grow. We promise you a great time, with plenty of audience participation.

> "Les fables du Potager" show
Every Saturday and Sunday at 4.30pm and every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the school holidays from 20 April to 6 May.

At the heart of the Potager des Princes, nestled in the theatre of greenery, hide some extraordinary animals.... What sets them apart from the park's chickens, ponies and peacocks is that they can talk! Talking animals? Wow! Come and discover Monsieur La Fontaine's animals in a show combining humour and poetry. Two professional comedians will be on hand for 30 minutes to provoke cascades of laughter from young and old alike.

> The rabbit race
Every Wednesday at 4.30pm and every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during the school holidays from 20 April to 6 May

The famous rabbit race where children have to vote for the best rabbit! Who will win the race: Petunia, Begonia or Peony?

The ticket office closes at 5 p.m. and the Park at 6 p.m.
