Enter the France's only nail factory, la Clouterie Rivierre, installée à Creil, près de Chantilly et Compiègne since 1888 et découvrez un absolutely unique know-howpractised on machines over 100 years old for some!

The smell of oil and hot metal, the hammering of machinery on iron, the light streaming through the shed roofs... you'll enter an atmosphere worthy of a Zola book! The Clouterie Rivierre has also been used for several films!

During the guided tourYou can meet the employees and learn more about the various stages in the manufacture of more than 2,800 references of spikes and nails fashioned from the 325 vintage machines.

La visite guidée hebdomadaire a lieu every Wednesday (réservation fortement conseillée), à 14h et dure environ 1h30. Elle est conseillée à partir de 5 ans.

During the school holidays ateliers sont organisés à destination des enfants (prévoir 3h: visite + atelier).

Vous êtes un groupe ? Offrez-vous une private guided tour ! Tous les jours en semaine, sur rendez-vous uniquement et pour 60 personnes maximum, la Clouterie ouvre ses portes rien que pour vous !

 - The plant is neither heated nor air-conditioned, so adapt your clothing to the weather and take something to drink if necessary.

 - For greater comfort, remember to bring earplugs or headphones for the visit to the nail machine room.

 - The machines in operation are noisy, so we strongly advise against taking children under 5 on the tour.
